Dr. Thomas C. Cherry, Jr.

Dr. Cherry is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 27 years experience in the areas of reconstructive and plastic surgery and surgery of the hand. He has performed thousands of surgical procedures since receiving his medical degree. He is a member of several prestigious professional organizations.

Dr Cherry began his career as a surgeon in 1983 and earned board certification in plastic surgery in 1985. He attended college at the University of North Carolina and Columbia University, then completed medical school at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He served his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Medical College of Ohio Hospital. Following fellowship at Albany Medical Center Hospital and Albany Plastic Surgeons, PC, Dr. Cherry has been on staff at Backus Hospital, Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, and also practices at Shoreline Medical in Old Lyme.
